He said that this is unfortunate that the Government of Azad Kashmir and the politicians of Azad Kashmir couldn’t come up with a real sense of solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir and rather they were busy with their petty political issues. He stressed that the people of Kashmir should re-think the behavior of their politicians.
He urged the media, academia, politicians, and religious leaders to spread awareness about the issue of human rights violations in Kashmir.

Kashmiri people are looking towards the international community to support them to hold a free, fair and impartial plebiscite in their territory.
Mr. Irshad Mahmood renowned journalist and columnist said that we may use media to highlight the brutalities of Indian forces against the innocent Kashmiris. We need active people to participate in the war of media as through this tool we may be able to change the mindset of the international community. The present uprising in Kashmir is very popular and we should not lose this opportunity. The Pakistani academia, social figures, journalists must support the Kashmiris enabling them to lead the movement to its logical end. Every individual of society must participate in this movement. Dr. Nazir Hussain showed his satisfaction over the role of IIUI and Lord Nazir for promoting the Kashmir Issue. The people of occupied Kashmir were looking towards the people of Pakistan, the Government, and Security Forces to come forward and help them in their struggle for freedom. In real sense this debate is purely theoretical, and requires strategic thinking. It is high time to energize the youth for strengthening the movement of self determination in Kashmir. Dr Husnul Amin
