2nd Session of First Workshop of the IRD Series of Workshop on “Research Methodology”

IRD organized second session of 1st Workshop of IRD Series of Workshop on “Research Methodology” in collaboration with the faculty of Social Sciences. The Workshop was aimed at exposing the research scholars to various research methods available across the social sciences and to make them appreciate the common standard practice of knowing and doing. MS and PhD scholars from various departments including Education, History and Pakistan Studies, Politics and IR, and Media Studies participated in the workshop. The Resource Person, Dr Sajid Ali Yousufzai, National University of Modern Languages shared various techniques of quantitative research with the scholars. Dr Sajid Ai Yousufzai got a doctoral degree in Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Arkansas, USA. He is the author of the book Quantitative Data Analysis. The resource person discussed dependent test, independent test, Analysis of variance (ANOVA), Chi-Square, positive correlation and negative correlation. He also discussed the questions asked by the participants of the workshop.
