ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ejaz Hussain did M.A in Asian Studies from Lund University, Sweden. He obtained Ph.D. in Political Science from Heidelberg University Germany. Moreover, he did postdoc in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Hussain has authored Military agency, Politics and sate in Pakistan besides publishing in peer-reviewed journals such as Armed Forces & Chines Political Science Review. He is a DAAD, FDDI and Fulbright fellow. With respect to media outreach, his commentaries have appeared in Daily Times, The Fridays Times, Newsline, Global Times, Dwan, The first post and the BBC.   Previously, Dr. Hussain has worked with COMSTS University and FC College University, Currently, he is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Social Science, Iqra University, Islamabad he can be contacted at [email protected]
