IRD hold an engaging Talk on “Glimpses from the Journey of an Islamic Studies Academic: Reflections on Theories and Methods” by Dr.
Abdulka.der Tayob (Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa) and Iqbal Research Fellow at IRD. Professor Tayob spoke to the participants regarding his research work in details and discussed the new trends in Islamic Studies research. The discussion was attended by teachers and research students of Islamic Studies. The talk was mainly aimed at educating researchers with the current trends, theories and methods on Islamic academic research.
The event was held at Dr. Mehmood Ahmad Ghazi Seminar Room (B111), Fatima Block, Female Campus, International Islamic University, Islamabad.
