A panel discussion on “The Climate Change as a Non-traditional Security Threat to Pakistan” organized by Department of Politics & IR, IIUI in collaboration with Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) held today at Fatima Block IIU Female Campus.
The discussion aimed to highlight the link between the country’s policies and upcoming strategies to cope up with climate change, as well as a non-tradition security threat to Pakistan, particularly to look at some of the most important initiatives taken internationally and discussed on Pakistan may take to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change.
