One day conference on “Muslim World & Democracy: Perils and Prospects”

The IRD in collaboration with International Research Council for Religious Affairs (IRCRA) organized one day conference on “Muslim World & Democracy: Perils and Prospects” at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, IIU Old Campus.
The speakers stated that the Muslim world and democracy is a subject which has different aspects in terms of thought. Discussions and issues related to political order in the Islamic world are fundamentally linked to Islam and democracy. The role of religion and religious circles is very important in all this.
