2-Day International Conference on “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law”

The IRD & Faculty of Shariah & Law jointly organized a 2-day International Conference on “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law” at Quaid-i-Azam Auditorium, IIU Old Campus. The Conference aimed to highlight the importance of Human life and the ways of its protection under Shariah and contemporary laws, and to disseminate such research. The participants suggested that the Muslim community should be educated through contemporary media about the needs to prevent harmful social practices that endanger human life. The scholars of the conference stressed upon the global community to save the lives of innocent Palestinians. The conference was attended by a huge number of scholars and faculty members.
