3-Day Educational and Pedagogical Training Program for Madrassa Teachers

The Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue organized a 3-Day educational and pedagogical training program for madrassa teachers. A group of 30 madrassa teachers of various sects hailing from twin cities participated in the workshop. The workshop aimed to enhance the constructive role of ulema in mainstream national life. Renowned scholar’s Dr Khalid Masud, Professor Dr Anis Ahmed and Maulana Dr Raghib Naeemi discussed in detail building leadership skills, developing respect for differences of opinion and sense of community among participants for promotion of inter-sect harmony and enhancing constructive role of religious institutions in the society. Dr Sheikh Tariq and Dr Fareed Brohi enlightened the teachers with the modern knowledge, practical skills and new resources that they can use to provide the best education to their students based on Islamic principles.
